This is me (only my hair is a bit shorter today)
I wanted to write a bit about myself to let my followers know who I am and what I'm about.
Well my name is Kerry and I'm from Youghal Co Cork. I love Fashion, Celebrities and Food 😉 and the occasional drink... Or two 😉
In 2010 I set sail for Australia and traveled for 4 years. I have visited the most wonderful places and have met the most amazing people along the way. I am forever grateful I was able to do that. I also met my partner in Australia and we came home together. I am also grateful for that.. sometimes!
In Australia I worked in a high end Vintage Clothing Store in Bondi. I loved this and I also got to style Women too. This is when I made a conscious decision that one day I would love to open my own Boutique.
Dreams really do come through. With a lot of hard work, ambition and dive(I'll also put stress in there too for good measure) Kerry's Kloset opened its door in May 2017.
How the name Kerry's Kloset came about (which my mother takes responsibility for 😏
Well obviously my name is Kerry and I did mention I love Celebrities, 'The Kardashians' being included (don't judge me please) I'll let ye figure out the rest 😉
My idol has always been Michael Jackson since the age of 5. I wanted my Boutique's Logo to mean something special to me. The logo is actually a female version of Michael Jackson. We gave her big hoopy earrings, the fedora hat and a bootay and she was all set!
My aim is simple !
I want to make Women feel good. I cater sizes up to 20. I know that Women are all different shapes and sizes and I wanted to conquer this and make all those lovely ladies not only feeling good but looking good too.
Call me weird but when that person pulls back the curtains and walk out of the dressing room and is looking fabulous it actually gives me butterflies. It gives me great job satisfaction.
I am all for Women supporting each other by the way!
Why I opened Kerry's Kloset in Youghal was because I wanted to try and bring business to Youghal, make people come to the town for a reason and because it's my beautiful home.I do believe Youghal has high hopes in the near future. I also believe that it's is important to try and shop locally and that business brings business! My point exactly!!
So with all this said I want to say a HUGE thank you to my outstanding family and partner and to all those who have helped
me along the way.
Also to all you guys. Thank you for all ye're likes, shares and support in general. Ye're such a cool bunch.
So this is me! You know where to find me.
